The Department of Environmental Engineering is based on the campus of the Triesdorf education centre and offers degree programmes in both natural sciences and engineering sciences necessary for sustainable engineering. About 150 students a year enrol in our three Bachelor's degree programmes and one Master's degree programme. We offer Bachelor's degree programmes in Environmental Engineering, Technologies of Renewable Energies and Water Technology and a Master's degree programme in Energy Management and Energy Technology, which is offered in collaboration with the Universities of Applied Sciences of Ansbach and Nuremberg.

Students acquire theoretical knowledge in lectures and practical skills in laboratories, covering Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Thermodynamics, Material Science, Molecular Biology, Soil and Water, Environmental Analytics and Waste Management. Additionally, pilot plant test facilities are run in two engineering halls.
